Graduated with Honours in Science with Physics and Maths in 1969 from Chowgule College.
Joined family business in November 1969 and presently Chairman and Managing Director of RamadasMallya group that have interest in mining, ore handling, farming and Nestle distributorship.
Served as President of all India body – Federation of Indian Mineral Industries from 1992 to 1994.
Presently a permanent invitee on the Managing Committees of Federation of Indian Mineral Industries and Goa Mining Association. Currently Hon. Treasurer of Goa Mineral Ore Exporters’ Association and Goa Mineral Foundation; Trustee of Matruchhaya Trust and President of Goa Shri Kashi Math Managing Committee.
