R. M. Salgaocar Higher Secondary School Participations
The year 2014-15 has been a very successful, eventful and a victorious year. Various activities were organized which are as follows: Lantern making, artificial flower making, greeting card making, mehendi competition, and rakhi making competition. All these competitions were inter-divisional and many students have won prizes. Apart from these our students also participated at the All Goa Inter Higher Secondary Level competitions, and have won prizes for the same. The following are the All Goa Inter Higher Secondary events.
1. Won the 1st place in TOPSY TURVEY organized by Jaycees Club, MPT Vasco
2. Won the 1st place in EXPLORICA organized by St Xaviers HSS MAPUSA
3. Won the 1st place in DANZON organized by THE ONE DANCE ACADEMY Margao.
4. Won the 2nd place for Patriotic singing competition in Bandoda and Margao organized by YUVA-DE – GOA and RANG-DE BASANTI.
5. Won the 1st place in MONEY MATTERS a one day financial fest programme organized by Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics.
6. Won the consolation prize for hymn singing competition organized by AMIGOS DE LOTOULIM.
7. Won the 1st consolation prize organized by YUVA-DE-GOA.
8. Our students Kayne Carvalho and Kaine D’Costa won the 3rd price for poster painting competition organized by Menezes Braganza Institute.
9. Won the 1st consolation prize in All Goa Inter Higher Secondary Competition organized by S.S Samiti Higher Secondary School Ponda Goa under the guidance of Mrs Rekha Rao.
All the activities were conducted under the able guidance of Mrs Deepa Narvenkar, Jamuna Murthy Gudi , Nivedita Dessai, Maryanne D’souza Abhilasha Prabhudessai, Preeti Raikar and Mr Naguesh Kamat.
